YWCA closed in October 2003 and Outlet moved to Community Health Awareness Council (CHAC) in Mountain View. |

In December of 2003, California State Assembly awards Outlet a Certificate of Recognition for providing support, leadership, mentoring, outreach, and a safe space to LGBTQQ Youth in the Bay Area. |

Volunteer program becomes Friends of Outlet, a group mentorship program for LGBTQQ Youth |

Our first director, Juan Barajas leaves Outlet and Shannon Turk is hired as Director. |

Our sexual orientation and gender identity workshops were named uniQue: Understanding Issues in the Queer Experience |

De Ambiente began in September of 2007 after a youth expressed the need for Spanish language services |
