do without you. Your support, time, and energy help make
a real difference in the lives of LGBTQQ Youth.

Program Structure
Formerly known as Friends of Outlet, a Mentor-Mentee program,
we've now transitioned into the Outlet Volunteer Corps.
Each volunteer has a Key Position that has primary roles
and responsibilities. These options are listed below. You
can also sign up to volunteer for one-time events.
Expectations
We ask a minimum of a
6-12 month commitment for most positions.
Volunteers meet once a quarter at a casual social event
that includes a brief agenda with updates. This is also
an opportunity to build community and share ideas with others
who share your passion to support LGBTQQ Youth. We also hold a bi-annual training for OVC such as Suicide Prevention education, Transgender education and other important issues.
Volunteers sign up for
events, prioritizing those that fall under your key roles
and responsibilities. If you have the capacity, you can
also sign up for any additional events.
